Q u o t e: Mages wont even port you unless you give them 10g to do it. Maybe I should charge you 10g per heal or a tank 10g per taunt.
Yeah.
QQ QQ QQ - You dont heal people unless A you are in a dungeon with them or B they are in your guild, C Grouped with them.... At which point 99% of mages will port for free.
Blizzard lets not stop at lowering the CD of current Hearths which will make the Shammies QQ. Let's go all the way...
Every vendor, npc, and sign post will be an auto teleporting device similiar to a flightmaster, just click and tell it where you want to go. Plus you can teleport to any vendor, npc, or sign post in the game.
Instead of lowering the CD, lets lower the time of the loading screens. I want to instantly be somewhere NAO. After this is done, you may remove mage's totally from the game. And nerf warlocks one more time to get them to all quit too, since this seems to be your end goal anyways. Stop beating around the bush.
And while you're at it, remove levels 1-79. and remove all greens and blues from the game. Start everyone with a full freebee welfare epic outfit. oops, make that 2 freebee outfits, pvp and pve.
TBC, we dined with royalty. 3.0.2, we got cramps. 3.0.8a, light a match.
Q u o t e: I find it funny that the only ppl who don't have a problem with this is shamans and mages...i wouldnt either if i could port every 15mins or port to any city at will at the cost of a reagent...
Im a Priest, and I have never "ghetto hearthed".
I did just fine with a one hour cool down on hearth stone. I never did, because I felt it was an exploit of the game mechanics.

I'm sorry, I feel badly for you :( Are you constantly in pain just being yourself? Does it hurt you that you need to say stupid stuff like that to people voicing an opinion?

Q u o t e: My only real complaint about traveling now is that we don't have a riding crop of sort. We all can't be Paladins/Hunters/DKs.
I think thats the whole point.

i am being dead serious but I was the cryer, look in this thread its on page 3 I came in here to defend the OP's statement and kinda took it overboard lol
Q u o t e: Eyonix could not repel QQ of that magnitude =(
The "QQ", which I even pointed out didn't impact this decision at all. My job is to present feedback made by players to the design team, and I've become fairly adept at ignoring the noise - and tend to focus only on constructive core points. I gathered the fundemental and most legitimate concerns players had with the changes, and ultimately the decision was made simply because we had allowed the "ghetto hearthing" method of travel to persist long enough that not being able to do so, would feel somewhat punitive to players -- the hearthstone cooldown change compensates for this change.

This.
If the designers agree, then they agree. End of story.
"You have to look at it from America's point view. America = Rebels. Empire = Iraq. We kill the Emperor and now you're complaining about Luke Skywalker.

Be honest was there anything I said from this thread that helped that final decision?
