Also, ALL instance runs are now UNDER 30-40mins. People are gonna have fun WALKING back to dalaran.

Because it some classes have the ability to do this inherently, you want to remove that class advantage from them. Blizzard has said they are not going to trivialize our spells.

It's a shame, Eyonix, that you responding to these messages opens the flood gates on these so-called "issues". I gotta hand it to you, I don't think I could ever be a CM for such a high population game. Some times this just gets out of hand.

My opinion? Never had a problem with Hearth Stone times, frankly no other game(that I know of) has ever given a 100% FREE option to teleport to a different location. And it SHOULD have a timer on it.

This is a classic case of a spoiled child wanting more and throwing a tantrum when they don't get it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'd hate to see how these people act in public. Hopefully their behaviour here isn't an indication...

Looks like mages get another source of income come next patch. Cause we all know there gonna charge out the ass for ports come on we all know this.

60 minutes is fine. I sit AFK in Dalaran all day anyway.

However, if I didn't, I would be very angry. Finding a Mage is really annoying unless you're on a high pop server. If I had to pay 15g every time I wanted to ghetto hearth, I'd be pretty angry. Plus going through the 20+ minute ordeal of finding a Mage.

Luckily, since there's nothing really to do but PvP now, and even that's lackluster, there's no reason to leave Dalaran for anything other then to respec.

Yeah, this is incredibly false and I cannot believe you as a developer would say this. As I do not recall a time without ghetto hearthing I will have to assume it was the 2 months that I didnt know about this game after launch. However, in this time people would instead just use the un-stuck thing to go back to their hearth.

There has not been a time where you could not get around the hearthstone being on CD. Also, It is really easy to get a mage to go out to IF with you if you are a hordie when you want to do some random achievement or something like that right? No. The removal of ghearthing is a bad idea, Shame on you blizzard. MMO's are all about the ability to travel, and travel fast. So happy shamans get to hearth every 7.5 minutes though...

My main has a Dalaran ring, and there are many times where I still use RFC or some other instance to ghearth, it was simply a fun thing to have, and you took it away for no reason. Mages werent being screwed out of gold, my mage makes tons of gold from porting people still all the time. But sure, just go start removing all the cool little aspects of the game and see what we have left.

It's been in the game for a very very long time. I know it's fixing a bug but let say you -LOVE- cookies and someone takes your cookies away and gives you an apple instead. That would make you mad.

I believe that would be his problem. Blizzard took his cookies away.

I believe he means it was not intended to be abused as much as it was in the least bit but rather to clip individuals from disturbing an instance group they got clipped from, or abandonded for some reason or another. I.e. griefing with no PvP resolution.

The bug had to do with it binding you to an invisible "group" to a saved instance that isn't saved.

The only time an instance should teleport you is if you're in a raid instance without a raid.

All I see is a buff to mages, they don't need buffs.

The idea was if you kick someone from your party, that person doesn't just sit in the instance preventing you from getting someone new. Where it became an exploit is when people joined a group for 5 seconds just to enter an instance and get ported to Dalaran (or wherever) whenever they wanted. Hearthstones have a 1 hour cooldown for a reason.

I am very happy about this exploit fix. Now hopefully Blizzard will stick to it.
