I always thought the quick fix was just that - a quick fix. I've seen no mention of a permanent fix.

When will you fix it so our pets can ride beside us once more?

I second that. Its fine to have them dissapear while on flying mounts, but for ground pounders...make them run along side us!

Yield to temptation; it may not pass your way again.

I just hate how I lose soul link damage reduction, and I also lose hundreds of HP when Impy goes away.

Having the pet disappear when mounted resolved a number of issues people were experiencing and we are happy with how it has been working. No one likes an exhausted pet, so this way the pet shows up by your side and is ready to growl, bite, cleave, or torment (among other things) right after you dismount.

There is always a possibility of changing this again, but we currently have no plans to do so.

As it should be.

I hated getting dismounted because my pet dies and aggro'd a bunch of mobs.

Why don't you have a cool avatar like Timbal?

What do rogues and noobs have in common? They both pick Locks.

Never, if we're lucky.

I hated it.

I'm dead. Get over it.

I always had some glitch with my pets when they'd ride beside me. When most locks/hunters would mount their pets would get much faster according to their mount. Yet mine never did I'd usually get disummons from being too far away from them.

What about flying vanity pets? They follow me along the ground when I fly, I thought it would be cool if whelps, fireflies and cockroaches all flew.

If some one loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows in all the millions and millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars.

How about letting the pet's buffs continue to affect you while mounted? As a lock w/ dark pact, I often use my imp as extra hp+mana battery. It's a real pain to lose that hp every time I mount and not to get it immediately when dismounting (my max goes up, but my current stays at the diminished amount). I assume this is the same for hunters with spirit bond. I imagine a wounded, mounted hunter would enjoy his health continuing to regenerate while mounted.

At the very least, could blood pact be changed to provide the bonus hitpoints and not just increase maximum upon summoning?

Just let me instantly regain the Stamina from my Imp's Blood Pact when I dismount. Its pretty lame to have a nice chunk of health taken away whenever you want to mount up and then dismount. Only gripe about the change, and while a minor one, I would like to see it resolved.

Time is history's greatest teacher. Unfortunately, it kills all its students.
