I'd really like to see Attunements brought back for the next raid instance. Before everyone flies off their rockers I have a proposal. Instead of everyone having to be attuned, which sucked for when you wanted to bring someone new in for the first time, only make half the raid be attuned.

Say for the 10 man version you needed at least 5 people to be attuned before they could enter, for 25 man it would be 15. I think it would keep people that really don't need to be doing the raids out until they were actually prepared.

When I zone into Naxx on a Tuesday or Wednesday night I can check the chat and see 500+ people in it, and that's what causes the lag. Much like in any major city when you have to many people in it, an instance will lag when to many people are in it as well. Maybe if you separated the 10 from the 25 mans it would decrease the lag, but you have them all clumped into one which makes my really really nice computer feel bad when I have to lower the graphics.

Should everyone have access to raid content, yes, but only once they actually earn the right to do so. Letting everyone do it means you have to dumb everything down and therefore making the hard core raiders out there feel just plain stupid and question why they're still playing the game to begin with.

Bringing back attunements would be great, making it where you only had to have half your raid attuned would be even better! I love how you can't do Maly without having at least one person downed Sapphy and attained the key, we should have more things like that.

Malygos is attunement based. Only 1 person needs the "key"

hell with that, bring back full attunes, it makes people get to know their classes a little better, i'm sick of raiding with a decent group and then they bring some idiot in that hasnt even changed his basic combat bars and still only thinks they have auto-attack and 2 special moves.

attunes made the game harder, and removing them all is just another way that blizz has cuddled up the ass cheeks of casual players.

Wintergrasp causes lag. Too many people causes lag.

Why not buff servers instead of attunements?

For sake of money... really? 4 years and counting... lag still an issue.

All instance servers are shared... Just cause you see 500 people in Naxx doesn't mean they're all right next to you though. You're on the same servers as people running BRD or Ramparts.

Anyway, attunements have lost their place in this game. Let the fights be the gear/skill check, not some invisible key.

You see anyone that don't want to do attunements shouldn't be doing raids in the first place. My suggestion would make it where at least half the people in the raid wanted to be able to access something, instead of everyone and there dog being able to jump right on in, when they shouldn't.

To the person below that post. I put that in my post. Just needing 1 person to have downed Sappy in order to fight him was a good thing. It's one of the few places that doesn't have 500+ people in the raid every night of the week.

I don't believe there is any attunement currently planned for Ulduar. Instead you can head straight into the dungeon and enjoy it instead of running around somewhere and getting ready only to find that two of your main healers didn't do the attunement yet.

Really, so why don't I lag while doing Maly, or Sarth, or 5 mans? If they're all shared, I should experience the same amount of lag everywhere, but I don't. I get more lag in places that have loads of people doing them, aka Naxx.

Yeah, cause I'm the one who dies in the safety dance. It's not the other people who lag out or anything like that from the insane amount of lag Naxx has. You're right, it's all me.

Did you even read the whole thing? I'm fairly certain I put that they should be where you only needed half of the raid to be attuned in order to have access to it, not the whole raid. Needing the whole raid to be attuned was stupid, only needing half the raid to be attuned is a good idea.

What does server lag have to do with graphics settings?

Don't they become raiders when they start raiding? If raiding doesn't make you a raider, I think we might have to figure out something else to call them.

F'u elitest snob. The game and ALL of it's content should be for every player to enjoy not just basement dwelling troglodytes who play 16 hours a day. Attunments have nothing to do with the difficulty of raid content. I really don't have a problem with difficult or challenging content. Attunments however, are not an answer to your so called 'ezmode' raiding.
