I am just wondering if with the coming change of gargoyle to the new 51pt in Unholy and the damage going back up, is there anything in the works to bring the 51pt talent of frost up to par? I mean lets look at this objectively: Blood has DRW which i have a feeling will be getting it's burst damaged nerfed here shortly and rightfully so. I say do away with all the obscene burst going around right now. But it will still be very viable for PVE and PVP, because i don't think blizz would nerf it into uselessness.

Unholy after gargoyle gets reverted and if a DRW change goes through will have the best 51pt talent of all the trees. (another point for unholy. I hate this tree so much.) No need to explain how or where gargoyle will be viable. Then we have Hungering Cold, the frost 51pt. We all know the sheer overwhelming amount of dk's in todays pvp world and i can say i've not seen this ability used more than 10-15 times ever. Lets face it cost 60RP breaks on damage. Now is that useful in some situations yes, but compare that to gargoyle and DRW >_> See what i mean.

I'm in love with the frost tree. and i think that the frost tree is the most balanced of all the DK trees especially for pvp. Blood come in a close second with DRW+Hysteria+untargetable pushing it just over the OP boundary. And the Unholy....dont even get me started, so much utility in one tree, so much damage in one tree ,so much armor ignore in one tree, So much mitigation in one tree. It's time to stop favoring this tree blizz. This tree is already accepted to be hands down the best for pvp. Others are viable but unholy is always better. Then in pve this tree is easily in the top 3 best dps trees a dk can spec into. Is it just me or does this seem a little lopsided to anyone?

I suggest reasonable change to DRW still keep it viable and maybe throw one extra anti-kite device into blood some where and blood would be perfect and balanced. Frost is very pvp viable but 51pt needs some looking at and with the change to BOTN coming should make for some interesting builds.

Unholy....well if this is the standard tree for dk's that other trees should be equal to (for pvp i'm talking now), frost def needs some buffs. and with some toning down to DRW, blood will need some to. Tired of unholy ruling the show.

drastic arms changes:

slam now does 10% more damage to dazed targets

Why anyone would want to play a class that is impotent on their own and completely relies on their healers skill for their arena ratings is beyond me.

Just dont "INTO THE GROUND BABY" DRW. Lower the damage, but lower the Cooldown or something fine.

Hysteria and DRW 2 minutes instead of 3, GOGO.

Most of us were done with everything WotLK had to offer in a couple weeks.

I hope the devs don't listen to the QQ bandwagon and mindlessly follow the drastic hunter nerf calls while ALSO bringing out massive changes (see: buffs) to underperforming specs.


Small changes, more often. The key to balance.

How do you people get it so wrong that 3months after release (after a yr + of dev time) you have to re-work the class?

Will this be another class destroyer like 2.4 was for Hunters?

I think this almost made me spew my drink. Top 3 best dps trees a dk can spec into eh? As opposed to that 4th tree?
