People would complain on these forums, if there was a post about boobs and bigger boobs and Blizz was handing out free samples.

Link Please !!

Personally i love it, 1000g is nothing, i spent that much yesterday powerleveing a profession on a toon.....

If you can't make 1000g in a couple of nights, you're doing it wrong

Typical Wow players tho, cry whenever they get given something with a cost attached

Sweet Jeebus! 5 seconds, no cooldown, no lexicon!??!?! That's almost as amazing as a Bedazzler!

Winners never quit and quitters never win. But those who never quit and never win are just idiots.

1k gold is not a lot of money. I'm fine with it as a one time cost.

Q u o t e:

You literally just click a button, and after a 5 second cast, your specializations, glyphs, and action bars swap. You must be out of combat, and it still cannot be used in battlegrounds or arenas. There is currently no cooldown on the ability to swap specializations though.

Could you, just for me, confirm that this is being planned for use at level 40? i just need to hear those words... well read them... but the point stands.

Warning ahead of time: Patch 3.1 will break every action bar mod currently available, and more than a few other mods.

Curse, prepare for your server to shutdown repeatedly from overload on patch day.

For those of us who have lives outside world of warcraft(or at least enjoy playing other games as well)

"A few nights" wasted on farming is actually quite a lot. Dual spec isn't something that only the hardcores will use. This should be for everyone.

He's said it in two different posts already. I thought it was wrong at first, but clearly he's serious about the level 40 thing.

Am I the only one who thinks there SHOULD be a cooldown on it? Using Outfitter and dual spec will change pvp drastically. Switching in and out of healing spec and gear to dps gear and all that jazz. Such as feral druids will now be impossible to to kill 1v1 fighting in feral form...stun...respec to healing and BAM. I know druids are only one example and they can already do some sort of this technique but I think it may be unfair for dual spec from dps to heals that quickly.

Yes, the feature is available to level 40 or higher characters. I believe this change is live on the PTR now, but am not sure off-hand what build the change was made in, and whether or not that is the build that's live.

I have tested on a level 80 character though on the PTR to confirm that the lexicon is not needed and the swap can be done from anywhere.

Welcome to the forums. I love you.

Q u o t e:
That kind of convenience and versatility shouldn't be obtained with absolute triviality.

What about a lengthy quest? One that requires commitment but can be completed no matter what level you're at.

Collecting items or performing feats of power makes a lot more sense than paying one enterprising goblin who seems to be the only one in all the worlds with a surprising ability to grant you more than one talent spec.

Yes, I can cast Levitate on stuff.
No, I won't help you move.

It doesn't work in arenas or BGs, can't be used in combat, and is a 5 second cast. So no, that's not going to happen.

*does a happy dance*

Duel Specs is a GOOD idea.

People who complain, are the same people who always complain, so there is no way to fix them.

Consider earning 1000g to be your lengthy quest.

My level 70 has bought dual spec and has switched without the lexicon on the ptr, so i'm guessing the change went through.

/highfive

that... is awesome. thank you very much for replying. That right there is the only thing that had my worried about the dual spec option. having it available to lower level characters will make actually doing some of the old world and outland content easy.

Keep in mind the fight would have to be taking place outside of an arena or battleground for this to be possible; and even then, the druid would have to get out of combat long enough to perform the 5 second cast.

Edit: Beaten by the Danger Cow.

I'm just tired of everything taking absolutely zero commitment or skill. Anyone can grind 1k gold, but I'd love to see the quests created on a per-class basis like the old Benediction/Anathema quest.

Yes, I can cast Levitate on stuff.
