Because of Overkill i still kill warlocks/mages/priests in a stun rotation with at least 3-4 mutilates and one evis. (Which usually means the death of anything cloth/rogue)
Because of the Mutilate nerf i have way more trouble against anything mail/plate.
IMO they made a change that was easy to make and required the least thought and balance.
You do realize 3.09 was a real small patch that was put out with very little testing.
IMO they did some changes that were easy to do and accomplished some of the things they working to doing in 3.1. Most of these changes may or may not stay as they are not ideal. 3.1 will refine all of the changes and many of these i feel will prob be reverted in 3.1 in favor of more refined changes.
The thing is how do you fix overkill,vigor, vigor glyph and PvP set bonus. The thing is Vigor glyph should prob go completely the PvP set bonus should prob be changed also. The thing is changing these requires A lot more thought and changes in more areas.
So the change to Mut damage was prob the easiest to accomplish what they wanted. All though they are not ideal becuase the don't fix the problem of a rogue having 130 energy it does bring down some of that burst. personally i am hoping the PvP set is changed vigor stays and vigor glyph goes away.
A rogues energy much a like a War rage is its limiting factor that helps to hold back burst. This just isn't true when a rogue has 130 energy and with how fast energy is regenerating it is not a limiting factor anymore. A rogue as so much energy and it regenerates so fast it is like Ret paladins when JotW was 33% mana return.
