Q u o t e: Ragnaros is more persistent than we'd thought. Buck up and make friends with your local shaman while we get this settled.
Silvermoon is being equally persistent and melting it's own stones every few minutes... in my 15 minute adventure (before going out, ohyay) and after splatting on my face in Storm Peaks thanks to my loaner gryphon ditching me (stupid CD last night ...) I saw it at least three seperate times. Sooooo yeah.
Silvermoon is being weird still.
Thankfully, I AM a shaman. :D! I'll just frost shock my drinks for now, thanks.
Spec checks before grouping are nice. Shadow priests aren't main healers, nor are feral druids. Nor are enhancement shamans. And warriors aren't always tanks.

Q u o t e: People of Azeroth!
Your Ice Stones, oceans, and polar ice caps should now be safe.
...until Midsummer.
(If you see it happening again, let us know.)
Still happening on Khaz'goroth. Infact, as i was alt tabbed out to read this thread, i went back in game to take my toon off afk, and had it on my screen four times.
Wow that ice stone has been melting for 24 hours, i guess it had no end >.>

This is still happening on Arygos as of five seconds ago.

Q u o t e: TOO SOON. YOU HAVE POSTED THIS TOO SOON KISIRANI.
These persistent ice stones, my lord! They have melted and seek to flood the world!
The fix requires realm restarts, which we'll be doing off-peak so we don't interrupt this evening's gameplay. I apologize for all the melting in the meanwhile.

Good to know it's being fixed then. :)
The Ice Stone has "melted" for almost an entire day now, what more could possibly melt? >_>

It's good to know that Blizzard thinks of the needs of the players before the needs of the Ice Stones.

Q u o t e: I'm vaguely reminded of the gem from Diablo II.
The secret of the gem is there is no secret...
It opens the cow level in diabl one

Here's to hoping the fix is Oceanic friendly and doesn't require the battlegroup to be restarted (ie, restart peak Oceanic). I'll keep an eye on the Alert just for you ;) :P
