The issue with making our dps reliant on RNG is kinda crazy. While we can make ourselves to hold a steady dps using a non eclipse rotation, to try and dps and keep up with the others we need to hope we don't have to spam wrath 10 times to get eclipse to proc.

(before you think it..not gonna ask about starfail..its far from workable at this point)

I will however say..

Drop your buddies..I want mez a red whelp.

As graylo said, its not just RNG, but three levels deep of RNG.
- RNG determines if wrath crits.
- RNG determines if eclipse procs off a wrath crit.
- RNG determines if the increased chance of a crit pays off.

I want a payoff for good timing, not good luck.

Still though, pretty damn cool to see a blue post in our class forums... and concerning moonkin concerns.

At least I get a sense that devs are aware of some of the concerns moonkins have been voicing.

Now... if only we could get a hint about stafail... err, I mean starfall. ;)

I'm just truly hoping that as the PTR is up, that devs will give some serious look into boomkins and the scaling issues and RNG dependency of the class.

I also have my frustrating stories of strings of wraths that produced no procs as well. Sadly, it's happened well more than once.

I even had one string where I counted (yep, I actually counted this)... 30 wraths straight before I finally got an eclipse proc.... and my crit rate doesn't exactly suck.

Mmmm...I smell a good Malfurion/Alexstrasza fan-fic in the works here.

Eyonix any chance of letting us know how the status of re-skinning our forms (bear, cat, moonkin, etc.) is coming along?

I remember there were plans to have it be glyphed but it was taken out because you thought that wasn't the best way to implement it. I'd be willing to spend as much gold or time it takes to change my bear and cat forms so if you want it to be a money or time sink I'm down with it.

(I hate to make a post like this but I've been hoping and praying for any word on changing my forms for the longest time)
