Was deep wounds hotfixed recently, a numer of Fury Warriors are reporting about a 50% drop in overall Deepwounds dmg.

Can any Blue Confirm/Deny this?

well , they said they were going to do it eventually and blizz does hotfix things once in a while, so its not outside the realm of possibility. sorry if its true... everyone is getting rebalanced from what i can tell, just depends on when

Archavon 25/10 and Dummies. I am doing Naxx tonight so I will have a better idea after that.

I am not the only warrior seeing differences in their Deep Wounds dmg.

My damage was pretty low tonight, but probably because the huge lag going on, but DW was still around 17% of my total damage.

I see one post on the EJ boards about it, and this post about it.

I would wait for more then that, before making a post like this.

Just got done with Naxx 25man and my dps was much lower. Like 700-900dps lower. Several other warrior buddies have reported the same thing. And it looks to me like deep wounds was either silently nerfed (a second time) or its bugged. Id like to know sooner than later so I can know whether Ive become completely useless as Warrior DPS, now that I cant compete with dps and I have nothing to bring to a 25man raid.

Although it is a bug fix, i beleive we need to be compensated. With something not as extreme...

How about Slam using both weapons, or Deep wounds getting a buff.

Why don't you actually go and test it?

Auto-attack a dummy until you get a crit, and see if the DW ticks are still congruent with the tooltip.

Deep wounds getting a flat buff would make sense, cause then it would help all 3 specs.

I want to know if any Prot warriors have had any threat issues due to this fix, cause Imp Def stance would have skewed DW intended numbers.

not gonna happen anytime soon. blizz stated deep wounds was too high a % of warrior dmg. they probably did this to bring things in line and lower the ratio of how much of your dmg it was. looks like everyone will have to wait till 3.1 to get any solace

I lost alot of DPS. i ended 10man Naxx at around 2700DPS. Last week i was around 3500 DPS. They did something.

Fury warrior damage is pretty crazy right now, if this was an intended nerf then I wouldn't be trying to look around for 'compensation'

DoT's from auto attacks shouldn't be 30% of your damage anyways.

Ugh... Right now huh? we were just nerfed you idiot. You mean Fury Warrior dmg WAS pretty crazy.

Dont turn this into an us v them situation. The issue was Deeps wounds was bugged and was giving inflated dmg. And they fixed it, now we are seeing substantial drops in overall dmg compared to what we were achieving. Somewhere between live and pre hotfix is the sweet spot.

Oh I agree that the final amount of Deep Wounds was inflated, but that was when there was a bug. It took bliz forever to find the issue, eventually a player found it. Now they fixed it, which is good, cause bigs should be fixed. But the drop is quite substantial.
