Well today is my birthday and with how many birthday miracles that have occured i thought you might like to contribute to a fantastic day!

My dear friend and protege Lure says he posts this on all the posts he thinks that you might read and i thought you might read it if i asked you to really really nice. Also because it is my bday.

So this is a quote from my birthday thread and he has some good ideas (or suggestions rather((he is apologizing since he was being negative in my birthday thread in an earlier post!))

Haste - Make it a worthwhile stat. Buff the living crap out of it to something close to prenerf levels for melee only. Gotta nerf enhance shamans and fury warriors when they do this tho.

Armor Pen - This stat is just badbadbad. Buff it to somewhere between "lol burning crusade zero armor" and "lol wotlk diminishing returns armor pen." Again, you gotta nerf fury warriors and enh shamans and hunters.

Glancing Blows - Remove them. Such a stupid archaic form of mitigation. Has no real point in the game. Leave it in game for mobs that are +4 levels above you, remove it for +3. Oh yeah nerf fury warriors again to compensate.

Buff the hell out of the combat tree - Make Killing Spree 1 minute, make it not switch targets. Buff prey on the weak to 30%. Make savage combat 3/6%. Make Combat Pot generate more energy. Lower AR to 3 minutes. Buff sinister strike base damage. Change lightning reflexes to a dps talent and not worthless ass dodge.

Agreed. If you're not happy with your performance in PvE, spec Mut-Prep and go 100-0 warlocks until we get pve buffs.

It is not only i who is not happy with rogues pve performance but also ghostcrawler.

I'd feel really awkward if I was working at my job as a developer for a video game and some kid came up to me and asked me for stuff on his birthday.

yes i am some kid asking for "stuff", if by stuff you mean to look over some suggestions and consider them for the changes to rogues that he suggests might be needed, then yes i am asking for "stuff".

If GC were to post here, this is is the Likely response:

" You didn't even show up at my birthday party."

i am not saying implement all of them, but i think a lot of you need to go back to middle school art class where you are taught constructive criticism where ideas are given to help improve a piece, or in this case the game. When given constructive criticism the person receiving is not obligated to use all or any but may use the ideas to evolve the piece, or in this case the game, to a better well rounded product.

By no means do i expect ghostcrawler or any developer to take and implement all suggestions given on these boards but maybe one, or even something used as a reference to help the rogue class out in PVE would be nice.

We all know that the rogue class is still being very competitive in pvp, and i have not complained about my pvp damage. Ghostcrawler said int the aforementioned thread that the rogue class' pve damage needs to be brought up. So here i am posting one of my friends suggestions in a light a cheery manner.

But if ghostcrawler is so inclined to give me a super awesome birthday present, i would love all those changes to be brought through, or a birthday crown to wear in game with a hunter's mark pointing down saying IT IS THIS GUY'S BIRTHDAY!

If by "competitive in pvp" you mean they cause more problems than ANY OTHER CLASS in a PvP setting, then yes, they are very competitive.

Seriously, QQ more.

Until silly things like stunlocking and the insane mutilate damage is toned down, I think Rogues deserve to be at the bottom rung of PvE DPS, right above healers.

Ah yes because we are good in pvp, and frustrate people with stuns by the transitive property this means we should suck in pve. Not like those are two totally unrelated aspects of the game or anything.

This isnt a qq post by any means, and i feel like everyone posting think i am crying about rogue damage. I was offering some ideas on how to increase rogue damage in pve. I never said, "OMG my class sucks all around buff me plz!"

Again i am just posting to hope this crosses GC's desk showing some suggestions on helping bring up rogue's pve damage.
