Concerted Efforts should include 1 of all BG marks, not just 4/5. Meaning, you turn in 1 of AV, AB, EOTS, WSG, SOTA marks. In addition, increase the honor gain to a flat amount of 1000 honor. This way, more people would play AV since its required for the Concerted Effort quest, and extra honor overall.

edit: Also, come out with savage weapons, shield, ring, trinket and relic (if apply to class) that there is more gear to earn with honor, and more incentive to play BGs/AV.

So 1000 would be the only amount of honor we'd get? Or am I reading that wrong? Because I only get an AV game every 50 minutes, but it's the quickest 2k honor I can get.

Horde will queue again when we have all our PVP gear and are ready to go back to 1 hour grinds for nothing but fun. But right now 1 hour games are just a brutal waste of time when you're trying to gear up.

av needs to be fixed, its one of my favorite bgs and it just saddes me to see ally steamroll horde every game. Since av isnt required for the mark turn in anymore why not revert it back to being a game that would take someimes days to win

Sadly I didn't get into AV much before they nerfed everything. I only saw the big HUGE special units a couple times, and every AV was so epic it makes me wonder WTF Blizzard took all the good stuff out of it.

Nobody used to AFK in AV.
Nobody COULD rush to the end of AV

Everyone had a blast, I remember stories of people getting to exalted in one or two AV matches because they lasted so long and there was always a constant onslaught. WHY BLIZZARD?! WHY?!
