We will be offering free character moves from selected high population realms to a brand new PvE realm, Garrosh, to assist in population dispersal. The ability to move a character from the selected source realms is scheduled to run until Wednesday, January 14, 6:00 pm PST. Garrosh is an eastern timezone realm on the Emberstorm battlegroup.
In the event that these realms meet our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. No characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.

Eldre'Thalas is definitely on our watch list. At this time though there are 55 realms more impacted than your realm, and we want to avoid opening the flood gates with free transfers all at once. It's much more easy to control the flow of players using these transfers if we enable them in segments. Your patience is appreciated.

Curious, is Malfurion anywhere on your lists?
I haven't run into any issues since I typically log in before peak hours, but I've heard of queues popping up lately and I'm curious how it stands compared to some of the others.

Garona is on our watch list as well. There are 40 realms with larger queues on average than Garona.
oh yeah, definitely. garona has so-so queues, nothing horrendous, and I don't have much to complain about i suppose. It would just be nice for me personally (lol, I know I know) to get free transfers, because I'm perfect for them--I'm cheap, and I don't care what realm I'm on.

Oh I had another question, just came back to me brain: Could Blizz ever institute a sort of "Good Standing" transfer merit system--meaning if you're account has never been banned, always paid your monthly, never been hacked or hammered for gold-selling etc, you get a chance to be offered a free transfer to a realm of your choice? Cuz that would rock. Me and my crazy hypotheticals. :P
