Spirit strike does not benefit from the 50% damage bonus of prowl. Please fix this with the patch along with the other things you're doing to the spirit beast and it's strike. Do it all right : ) Thank you!

how can it do its white attack when its 15 yards from the target. the whole point is the synergy between abilities. prowled at ranged to spirit strike. then charge to melee for double bonus. the first pet to use prowl and charge effectively... except spirit strike doesnt gain a prowl benefit.

I'll test this with my beast when I get home, but spirit strike goes off at range. White melee doesn't have a 30' range!

You could always throw in a new ultra rare pet on the far eastern side of Northrend (killer king penguin) to detract attention away from the spirit beast.

Seriously though...I like the fact that the spirit beast is rare and lacks just enough DPS so that the min/maxers don't want it. If it starts pushing out lots of dps, the rarity of this beauty will surly decrease. Easy fix...make it spawn like that damn time-lost proto drake :)

GC, currently Spirit Strike appears to be use the master's spell hit rather physical hit. This means a hit-capped hunter will see Spirit Strike miss 6% of the time. This was reported on the EJ forums and I confirmed with my own target-dummy testing. Are there plans to change it to use physical hit? If not, then the Spirit Beast really doesn't come up to be on par with other DPS pets.

There is no reason to keep the spirit beast family as rare as it currently is. The small change of adding more spirit beasts into the game (the mage hunters in zul'drak, cursed offspring and a new npc cat with the skin of Blackmaw are all good candidates) would keep taming Loque the relatively rare and difficult choice it is for his very unique skin without having to worry that spirit beasts as a family are becoming "mandatory pets" that are unreasonably difficult to get.

Please consider this!

I will pay GC 3.68 USD plus three (3) bottles of gin if they give me the ability to tame a land shark. I'll provide a special, hand turned mug to drink said gin if, when clicking the land shark, he offers you a candy gram.

yay thanks for the response... i would like to gear about the spell hit rating vs. physical hit rating, though. that seems unfair considering our arcane damage shot is based on physical hit.

Not to sound rude but Loque IS a must have pet because he is so rare. It's nearly impossible to find this pet. Cats, scorpids and devilsaurs are still the must have pets for the min/maxers out there.

I understand where you're coming from with prowl being designed as a cats special ability. On that note can we get some more stables? There are so many pets out there I want to tame. I know that's a long shot but hey worth asking.

And Jack Daniels is far better than gin.

Yes, please keep an eye on it. No pet should be a "omg the best best" - not Cats, Scorpids, Huge Dinosaurs, or Spirit Beasts.

Let pet choices be about personal taste and less about the numbers.
