I know you mean well, but look at the front page. Every topic is GC ________________________, there's no discussion of healing really going on anymore, at least not in its current state. All anyone cares about is the future.

Don't really care. Most of GC's posts are either announcing nerfs or defending comments he's made on the DPS forums.

Until he actually starts explaining the design logic behind healer balancing I just ignore his posts or those clamoring for his attention. Indeed since he never posts in the threads that bring up real issues it's almost a positive to avoid any thread with blue in it.

I definitely won't be surprised if GC stops posting all together in the Healer forums.

But, that doesn't make us any less right and his words any less retarded. He'd just be running away at that point.

GC thinks that healers should be killable without any CC, silences, whatever, just by their opponents facerolling over their keyboard to 2000+ rating.

If you don't think that that's an idiotic assessment of their own game, then I seriously question why you pay $15 a month for a game that you don't understand at all.

Read his later posts today at blue.mmo-champion.com after that post yesterday. Apparently he was referring to focus fire from multiple attackers. Or least, anyway, what he's saying today implies that it's not quite so bad as you were thinking:

Now, I am still worried that they may keep trying to have ret pallies viable against healers through raw DPS rather than adding more properly skill-requiring abilities. But at least I do think that they don't want the current degree of underrepresentation at high arena ratings for most healer classes.

So probably the PvP burst DPS situation will get improved in coming months.

I don't like it, but he did apparently mean more than one attacker, not 1 vs 1. It always has been the case in this game that multiple attackers can sometimes kill a healer through raw DPS focus fire even if they don't use CC.

I myself was one of those making some posts afterward about how important it is (at least in a 1 vs 1 fight) for victory to involve use of all of the abilities of one's class, as otherwise WoW PvP is too simple as a combat game if someone just mashed auto-aimed DPS attacks. That would get old and less interesting to the better players. But, still, the point's made and read. So that's enough argument about it for now unless one has a new point to make or a better way to argue it.

GC finally and officially corrected his statement in saying:
