It is. It'll get nerfed I'm sure. Higher cost, shorter duration, lower damage, stays in melee'able range. Pick 3.
Will also be less of an issue when DKs start arenas at zero RP, but still OP.

For the duration that the gargoyle is up, in full raid buffs and my current gear, it can run 1500-2000DPS easily dealing 100k damage per cast on all but the most AoE intensive fights (sapphiron and sartharion come to mind). 100k damage every 180 seconds puts it at over 500DPS average overall increase for 1 talent point. And it scales really well.

It had to be said as well. The power of this Gargoyle was nothing short but fantastic.
I'm impressed. A real balancing measure.
I have a feeling Death Knights will soon be one of the more perfected classes in the game. Seeing how quickly you've gone to modify aspects of our offense and defense and tanking capabilities shows a true "passion" for the Death Knight.
Seriously, I don't think any true DK didn't see this coming.

It can last far, far longer than 10 seconds. Let's please educate ourselves about the aspects of the game before we talk about them. This isn't an insult to you, but like other abilities in this game (The Shaman's Hex), there are WAY too many uneducated people out there talking about things they cannot understand in this game.
Gargoyle can last up to a minute. It's not the easiest thing keeping it up there, but it can happen, and many can sustain it up to that point in PvE.
