1-2k non-crits and maybe some 3-3.5k crits? Thats amazing and ridiculous. (sorry I didnt get any crit shots)

Gargoyles should be a 51 point talent or have it take up alot more runic power than just 7.

ignore my last weeks rating for 1756... I was rolling with a lock at the time, I know trolls will flame me because of it, please don't.

My combat log was a little weird last night, but a Gargoyle was hitting me for 1800 (not counting about 150 resist) repeatedly. Is that even possible? The DK (if I'm looking at the right one) had about 3200 ap. It's absurdly frustrating to be destroyed by fire-and-forget spells.

Oh, and the extra 350-400 hits from the Ghoul made me feel really special.

Gargoyle is OBSCENELY overpowered. Like Mage Armor and Deadly Brew, it should just be removed.

I doubt blizz would remove but I think it should be moved to a 51 point talent, its not fair that even mass spec'd blood and frost can still throw 15-20 points into unholy and grab the gargoyle.

Picking the gargoyle up as another tree requires you to lose your 51-point talent and spend 21 points into Unholy.

Which isn't a big deal because of how poor the blood and frost end tier talents are.

Unholy is such a bad tree, you're right.

You corrected nothing.

I did. 15-20 vs. 21 minus a 51-pointer.

Not saying it's a bad move to make. That clear nuff?

Gargoyle is a little overpowered. I have been saying it for a while. Make it attack who I want it to attack, nerf the damage, and make it unkillable and call it a day.

The thing with gargoyle is it is either ridiculously OP or dies in 2 seconds to a hunter. More consistency please.

How strict a limitation on the death knight is the runic power drain?

I mean, half your bar goes away when you cast it and should last another 7 seconds if it was full and you don't get any more.

Of course, 7 seconds is a lot of time. But doesn't it gimp the DK himself?

Basically, a DC costs 40 RP and does a little more damage than the gargoyle strike. The gargoyle, however, costs 15 RP every few seconds and casts that strike every second. In comparison the damage output by the gargoyle is much much higher considering the RP cost.

lol..warlock tears don't even taste good in this expansion...they are so bitter...

move it to 51 pointer for all I care, but don't make it drain more RP. and don't make it do less damage...

I never thought I'd be on this side of the argument - but don't nerf things for PvP when they are useful tools in PvE

Don't remove Deadly brew either. Give that warlock a buff so she can grow up a bit.

EDIT: oh yeah...alot of us who tested DK's in beta said it was OP and would cause a ton of QQ if not moved or toned down. Funny thing , that beta, aint it?

LOL- I am sure you are the one of the 1st people who little over a year ago pointed out the OP'ness of Felguards....

The thing last 10 seconds, get over it because it the Gargoyle did not kill you the next toon you run into will.

Gargoyle is a crap shot. The gargoyle not only scales extremely well but gains any buffs from the summoning through out it's lifespan. Summoning a gargoyle with a dual proc (greatness, mirror, fallen crusader, etc ) leads to a pet that does incredible amounts of damage for it's entire lifespan rather than the time of the buffs.

Swapping gargoyle and unholy blight really makes sense. Unholy blight even with it's "buff" is still a weak talent while gargoyle is an extremely strong one. Gargoyle should be the 51 pointer.
