Sweet, I'll finally get to learn Aquatic form at level 80!

Haha. My warlock had 50 days /played at 70 and never bothered to learn the infernal, doomguard, or dreadsteed. I salute you, fellow class quest slacker.

Why don't they just remove ALL class quests and be done with it?

Hell, just remove quests altogether, and give people instant level 80s. Seems like that would be easier too. Once you set a precedent, you should follow it - similar to the bailout that the porn industry should get.

I would much rather do a quest to get the lore behind a spell or ability than just pay some gold and somehow magically know the spell afterward. I don't like the direction they're going with this.

With the changes to the 1-60 portion of the game, doing the water form quest takes about as long as going from 30-40.

Ah well. The game keeps heading in a direction that makes me miss how it once was.

Lore, unique class quests, and interacting with the environment in interesting ways was always a big part of the fun for me. I feel like the game continues to drift towards a certain portion of the player base that simply fails to include me.

Q u o t e:

Clearly neither of you plays a shaman or warrior. Those quests were meant to show you the world, so you would see other continents. I bet you ran RFC with only the quests from Org because going to TB and UC for more quests was a waste of time. the Aquatic from quest was fun, it used to be challenging too.

I never ran RFC. In fact, I did maybe 10 instance runs leveling from 10-60, none for quests. I spent the rest of my time exploring as much as possible, or taking breaks. I did a lot of grinding from 1-60, because I was an idiot who didn't realize questing was faster.

My son is a Warlock. He's also 9. He enjoys playing, but gets no joy from running back and forth to get his next demon, for instance. It's enough for me that he works on learning his class and mastering his affliction rotations. :D

Agreed. I just did this quest recently, and while it wasn't fantastic, at least it was a quest. Even though aquatic form is basically just for fun and giggles, I still thought it was worth doing. Now druids get to trade the quest and the related XP for a few bits of in-game coin. Hmmm.

I think if there ever was an EZ mode button on the EZ mode button, it just got pushed.

I'm fairly certain we're not removing the quest, it simply won't be required for the aquatic form.

Well, that's pretty damn stupid.

Here I am, still waiting for the cat spirit quest to materialize, and instead they're just taking away one?(EDIT: Removing the requirement to do it means you still might as well just take it away)

Druids are supposed to be one of the most lore-buried classes in the game. Hell, they have access to an entire plain of existence that is supposed to be "our big thing" coming up in a future expansion.

So they're taking away a class quest? Class quests help make the class appealing. It adds lore to it.

Hell, what's the point of even having Moonglade now? It's only going to be good for the bear form quest and a flight path, assuming they don't take away the bear form quest too.

Druids seem to be turning into a complete joke to Blizzard. We've went from being the saviours of Azeroth to....DEHTA.

Coming up, shamans will no longer need to do their totem quests and warriors will just train all their stances.
Ok now THAT would suck. The druid quests were soemthing I dreaded because they were usually boring and out of the way but the warrior and shammy quests? Idk...

Personally I think there needs to be more class quests. Just not obnoxiously boring ones. >_<

Hey, it's like what they did with Dreadsteed quest/training.

In other words, the quest is still there, but nobody is going to do it.

Though the people that skip the Dreadsteed quest chain are definitly missing out, it might be long and a PITA but it is so worth it.
It's even more epic then most of Northrend.

What was the point of Moonglade before? You go there often unless you had to? Besides the few quests you had to go there for, I have never stepped foot in it at all. They should remove it IMO.

Lunar Festival needs that place.
I thought that that was the only reason it was actually there besides lore. I mean, come on, if you're not a Druid there's nothing to do there.

Unfair Blizz, Druids get their own zone. I DEMAND Blizz makes a zone for Warlocks.

and travel form.

I agree about removing the quest (or just giving the form with out it) is a bad move... Heck I'd love to see the quest reverted back to the ORIGINAL form.

I *LIKED* having to figure out how to get the pendant without dying (Swim to air, wait, swim down to chest and get pendant (fatigue under 50%), teleport:moonglade).
