Nourish doesn't have any problems apart from being slightly eclipsed by Regrowth, but thats because of how incredibly good Regrowth is, nothing to do with how good/bad Nourish is. For what it's worth I like it, and allowing it to fill the role of a quick heal to top up DPS while Wild Growth cools down will cement it's place in my arsenal.

...On a more serious note. I'm glad druids are getting their polish on their level 80 spells. It was as lack-luster as flash heal. It would be great if priests could get a little attention. Our Hymns are so bad that no one except us even knows they exist!
I don't think Nourish was nearly as bad as Divine Hymn. Divine Hymn should have been a paladin spell. They are the one asking for an aoe heal, not us! I'd much rather get one of the druid's hot spells. With it's inconvenient debuff and whatnot, Divine Hymn has no place in a healing rotation. The few times I did try to pvp, I found that Divine Hymn was on cooldown because I had just used Psychic scream! What gives!
It might have sounded great on paper, but the spell in its current form is not appreciated.

In GC's defense, this is probably a very simple change to make. Replacing a bad hymn spell on the other hand is not. Sometimes it's just a matter of developers / designers dealing with low-hanging fruit.

Hmmm - I think all of the fruit must be at the top of the priest tree requiring either a ladder or in the devs case a chain saw to get at them.

As a side note, how about adding some priorities for WG casting, It seems whenever I cast it, the 5 people at 100% health that are next to the person with 30% health get it... when I'm casting it on the person with 30% health. :/


Should have some criteria like:
1.) Is *your* WG already on the target?
Example: I cast it twice in a 10 man raid with everyone on top of each other, everyone will get it
2.) Are they in the target's group?
Example: Same situation, I cast it on someone in G2, everyone in G2 gets it, I cast it on someone in G1, everyone in G1 gets it.
Exception 1: There are only 4 people in G2, I cast it on someone in G2, a person in any other group gets it based on criteria 1 and 3.
Exception 2: G2 is full, but one person already has WG. A person in any other group gets it based on criteria 1 and 3.
3.) How low is their health?
Obviously you want to heal someone low on health before someone that's high on health...

I've never had this happen.

For me, barring latency/lag issues, It always goes to the lowest hitpoint targets in range. I've actually been perturbed by the opposite... I'll cast it on the tank to give him an extra hot, but because he just got topped off 0.1s before that, it goes to the 3 rogues and 2 pets who were at 95% health when I actually WANTED the hot on the tank.

WG affecting nourish would make a world of difference. Just makes sense.

Well now that some1 in blizz is actually paying attention to priests, i would like to remind u the fact that shadow priest around wow r crying, shouting, and suffering right now in arenas because of the lack of survival skills in pvp, Yes GC shadow priest r nothing right now in arenas, they get one shotted and have no chance, and NO, I havent seen any response from any of u people at blizz staff, i had to go to disc to be viable in arenas and still having lots of problems but my question is with shadow? Will u fix this lack of survival skills, or had u even noticed that like all shadow priest as well as holy and disc r crying for any response of u guys???!!! If u havent noticed just type in google < Lol Shadowpriest arena> and you will find tons of forums everywhere, plz answer this, and No, giving us more dps wont solve it, nerfing our coh wont solve it, nerfing our a bubbles wont solve it... srry for my english, it isnt my native language

How do you WG a party? I thought that it was the 5 closest people to the person you targetted?
