Q u o t e:
No...they just nerfed the scaling...you can still make "high" stacks...there just isn't as much difference as their used to be.
Meh... maybe... but that's beside the point and goes counter to my own experience on test dummies where the DoT effect never drops but somehow varies... even while stacked to 5 either way though, given that we have no answer about whether or not the situation that I asked about is a bug or working as intened, thank you for the bump.

Anyone found out anything about this yet? I've had the same issue with scopids refreshing the same stack. Intended, bugged, don't care? Please say something blizzard.

Thank you for resurrecting this, the absence of a reply has been a source of some frustration.

Q u o t e: Currently if there are two hunters in a raid or party using scorpid pets, the scorpid poison stack is not applied for each scorpid pet. What happens is that Scorpid #1 puts up the first stack of the poison, then Scorpid #2 puts up a poison stack, which goes right on top of the first one from Scorpid #2. All the damage gets attributed to the first scorpid poison stack and it's the old rolling ignite deal.
Is this intended or is Blizzard even aware of it? What's the word? Thanks.
It has been this way since forever. I don't think it's a bug.

There is a special forum for reporting bugs. Post this there. If it is a bug, the people responsible for fixing it are considerably more likely to see it there than here.

Well, the DK situation with Ebon Plaguebringer or whatever it is which was posted about and linked on the first page, which drew a GC response, was posted in the Tank forums.

It's not intended, but we also aren't jumping through a lot of hoops to make scorpids even more popular right now. Once we get the pets more equal, then we'll see if we can get this fixed.
One suggestion that has come up a lot if just getting rid of the stacking altogether. It's neat that it makes the scorpid different from the other pets, but it has been a balance problem for some time.
