So I just got X-perl and when I click on a person and when the person starts casting it doesn't show on his portrait that he is casting. Is it supposed to be like that or is there a way I can show that they are casting something.

Make sure under Target in the xperl options (/xperl) you have 'Cast Bar' Selected.

Even though its an old post, I have a question regarding x perl as well....

Under the "global" tab, at the bottom, I can make x perl fade out my party frames if they are out of range of a selected spell. I love this feature. However, when I switch to an alt, the range finder is still set to the healing spell I'm using on Leiyan to judge distance. If i change it to, say, the remove curse spell on my mage alt, when I return to Leiyan, it's setill set to the remove curse spell of my mage.

I have tried saving different profiles, and re-loading them when I get back to my main, but it seems to change that fade out range to whatever spell I chose last for it (and if the character doesnt have it avaliable, everyone is always out of range).

I've been manually updating the spell used to determine range whenever I switch characters but I'm sure there must be a way to make this automatic.

Sugesstions? What am I msising?

I've got a question. I am pretty sure a while back I checked some box that turned off Player Names. Wether it was in raid, or for everything. It was ok for a while, but eventually it just got on my nerves because it turns off names altogether. I turn them on from my interface options, but the next time I log in, they're turned off again. I really hope there's an option in X-perl that does that, so I don't feel dumb about posting this XD
