We changed how the game handles debuffs (ie negative state effects on targets) on creatures with Wrath of the Lich King. The old hard cap of 40 debuffs on a target no longer effectively exists. You can now apply way more debuffs to a target without them dropping off before their duration expires. The default WoW UI will not normally display all these debuffs, but they really are still there!

Well that's exciting.
Q u o t e: Not really. You have a really skewed idea of what "min/maxing" means. It doesn't mean making your character good enough, it means making your character the best.

Is this in the game currently? If we raid Naxx 25 tonight with 6 affliction warlocks, will our dots be falling off right and left or will they all stay on?

Does this mean multiple Unholy Deathknights will now get their own copy of Ebon Plague, rather than the current "who wins the 3 disease lottery" situation it is now?

So is there a hard cap at all, or can we put on as many as we want until the server runs out of memory/CPU to deal with them and crashes (which is probably not possible in a 25-man)?
