To ensure a smooth transition to Wrath of the Lich King, we recommend that players who have newly upgraded their accounts, log into the game and log out completely for a short period of time in order for their account to fully update.

Will this fix the issue the Europeans are reporting, not being able to make a Death Knight/Zone into Northrend, or the rare, being able to make more than 1 Death Knight on the same realm?

If we upgrade,do we get an option to download the client somewhere ? many of us purchased wotlk digitally because of our location. Many of us simply do not have options to get the game except online, specially if we want to start playing early.
