please put it back to being a quest chain. just forking out 1kg is alot less fun, and the removal of fun in this game seems to be at an all time high, so lets nip it in the butt, and put some back in by making this a quest chain again.

Quest is still in the game as far as I know, and 1k gold is chump change at 70, let alone 77.

Forking over gold = boring
Achieving through questing = fun…and cheaper ;)

And actually, I STILL feel it's a shameless way to rip 1000g per character out of the game. Then again... I know some of the people who make such things a necessity... >.>

What really is the point of making us pay another 1000 gold to relearn a skill we had in Outland? Forget the idea that it's easy to get gold for this argument. If having too much gold is an issue, wouldn't it be better to lower the amount of gold earned through quests?
I agreed with the original idea of a quest to relearn flying for Northrend. Heck, I would have been all for a long involved quest chain, especially if it involved an instance run or two. It just feels like paying the gold is a shortcut, and it saddens me a little. Spending gold instead of questing is going to make this much less of an achievment to have fun with, and turn it into just another chore.
