I'm lucky because I have a ton of vacation days left, so I'm taking a couple of days off and going to a midnight release. Until then, I am working on getting a nice little nest egg ready, making sure I have plenty of bag space, and slowly working on achievements/rep. When I am able to play, I'm thinking about heading to the Borean Tundra first, if the realms are stable, and leveling fishing peacefully in Darn if they are not.
What about the rest of you? Who's going to a midnight release and/or taking time off? What are you doing in preparation for Wrath? What are you going to do first with the expansion?
Im going to be at the midnight release, for Wrath prep Im just doing dailies to stock up on money, and Im going to lvl this guy to 80 b4 I go making a DK. Everyone is saying that the realms are going to be down bc of so many people and I think this is just irrational. Blizz has had plenty of time to prepare for this big event and they already have server pop limits in place to prevent a crash. so why does everyone think they are going to go down??

Why don't we just nerf EVERY class and at level 80 we can have 20k health go into a battleground and have a warrior going LOLOLOL hitting you for 5 white damage! that tickles doesnt it?! OH YEA! then

Neth, since you're right here... how come the Collector's Edition is so impossible to find? Every store in the area sold out of their very limited stock within an hour of preorders opening up. Seems like if demand is that high Blizzard could just print some more?

That's generally the point of a collector's edition; to be scarce. People got in early and pre-ordered them when they first became available a month or two back.
Check EBgames, or a Fry's if you have one in the area; ask them if they'll have CEs.

You'd have to talk to the retailers about that. I seem to recall last year some retailers having extras set aside for release night, but I couldn't tell you if that will happen this year again or not.
I've had it preordered for a while at EB, but I don't think they have a midnight opening. I plan to hit them up first thing in the morning on the way to university.
ARGH! I've been waiting anxiously for this release for so long, and now I have to work at least 10 hours of mandatory overtime next week. Luckily my nice boss is still letting me take Thursday off, but Friday I'll be working like 10 hours. I'm still going to the midnight release and staying up all Thursday to level my new Death Knight, though!
