Hi, I have seen a blue post saying that the mask achievement will be taken out of the requirements for "The Hallowed" title, was wondering when this was going to happen. They said this a week or so ago so I assumed it would just be a hotfix. Also, with no patch today I'm a bit worried.

SUMMARY FOR TL;DR: WAH WAH I WANT MA TITLE NOW GIMME IT!

It is seriously this hard to change the meta?

Good question (regardless of spelling). I stopped trick-or-treating because that's the only sub-achievement I had left and it was my understanding it was going to be removed from the top-level one.

I expected it to happen during today's maintainence, but obviously it did not.

Any chance of a Blue responding and letting us know what your intentions are?

Which was supposed to happen during the Hallow's End event. Which ends Saturday. Today would have been the day the achievement requirement for The Hallowed title should have been removed. But that didn't happen, thus we're curious as to what is going on with the achievement.
Is it still being removed for completion of the title or have minds been changed? If the latter. we kinda need to know so we can work on getting the masks.

Yeah, I gave up on getting the masks after seeing that blue post, I only have 2. Would be a pain since I put a decent amount of work into the other achievements.

A blue has confirmed that the 20 mask achievement IS still being removed from the Meta-Achievement when 3.0.3 comes out. He also said it was likely 3.0.3 would come out during Hallow's End, but we certainly can't hold it against him if something new came up that pushed the patch back (or can we?)

Oh yes. We most certainly can.

We can't give you the title now, but we can hollow you out.

Pretty sure they could do something like that without a big ole patch. So that's really not a solid indication.

There was also a post from Ghostcrawler on the beta forums either yesterday or today (I forget which) in which he stated that 3.0.3 would almost definitely hit prior to Wrath's live date.

I think Tigole also stated in his post on the matter that if you complete every achievement for the Hallowed except the one involving the masks, you'll be awarded the achievement and the title after logging on post-3.0.3.

Maybe. Maybe not. They're the ones working on it, they've decided (or simply CAN'T) hotfix the change. So, just wait for 3.0.3.

Now, does that mean that if I have every single achievement besides mask for all occasions, I can get the title even though the holiday is over?

Correct, you'll be credited whenever the patch is implemented.
