It's a change that will come probably before WotLK but not necessarily immediately. Relax.

They might have missed that change, there are mistakes from time to time, best to wait until the servers are up to check for yourself.

I thought we could eat friends.

Blizzard Updater is giving an affirmative on the change, if that helps.

I'm almost positive it's a -5% penalty for 3.0.3. I am not certain how non-Blizzard sites update their data and we don't fact check them.

We've also been discussing just getting rid of the penalty completely (though this will not be in for 3.0.3, if in fact we do it at all). At 5% it just feels like a dumb penalty, not something you really have to itemize around. This would make Titan's Grip the most overpowered talent in the history of WoW, and doubtless we would be for years having to deal with community questions about how none of their talents provide the 20% dps increase (or whatever it turns out to be) of TG.

WHY ISN'T KILLING SPREE A 38.74% DPS INCREASE LIKE TITAN'S GRIP.

Divine Storm

100% Holy Damage

Search your feelings GC, you know this should be true!

Maiie-
TLDR: i think 15% would be just fine if Judgement had no mana cost.

LOOK IT OVER BLIZZ (maybe 20%)

(vain attempt follows..)

While you're here, GC, is Sudden Death 9% on hit, or 30% on crit?

Also, mmo-champion says 5%, not sure where this guy got his stuff from. It's on their talent calculator, their own notes, and their posting of the "blizzard patch notes".

The only thing not updated, I think, is the blizzard web based patch notes... ?

If TG had to provide nothing (like Beast Mastery), it would be changed into:

"Allows you to equip two-handed axes, maces and swords in one hand. Also reduces your chance to hit with damage-dealing abilities that require a weapon by 50%. But don't worry, the screen will shake when you walk around. It's cool eh ?"

Your patch notes on your website says 12% IMO, so maybe you might want to change that. =)

Wow, this will be a total slap in the face to ret paladins. You nerf us and turn our 51 talent into complete mediocrity yet give fury warriors (who at 80 will have access to impale and deep wounds) the most OP talent in history. That's really fair and balanced.

Thanks for letting us have a chance to get to 80 before gutting us.

It amazes me that you could post this unironically after what GC just said.

Those areas have been drilled.

TG doesn't feel like a talent though. Meaning you don't see TG in the damage breakdowns like you see mortal strike, cleave, heroic strike, etc. Its very class defining for fury.

TG should be more of a base ability. Then make IMP TG which then makes it balanced for fury without being OP using the base ability TG with arms.

But don't forget they did buff the armor on level 80 bosses by 10% this is pretty much the counter balance to TG. And having no hit penalty is fun.
