end game/expansion marksman talent that gives you some kind of buff when your pet is dismissed/sacd.maybe some kind of spirit bond type ability(where the pet and hunters souls merge together) for marksman hunters that would increase dps/damage output.


ok other stuff...



alchemy flask that can res you and/or another player(make it unique with 30-60 cooldown or something)

dance trainers


edit= gonna try to add some other suggestions to this post..



cloaks/capes that cover your head,shoulders and flow all the way to the ground.(would also be cool if they flew in the wind while on mounts and stuff)



since mortal shots and now combat xp have been nerfed..could you buff improved stings?

volley animation working in beta?

will the hyena pet get any special ability? i was thinking of lockjaw or something...i would also love to be able to train my hyena the boars charge ability.


an all out marksman hunter hero class...no pet...stronger burst/dps...only can wear leather...better escape/get to range abilities...maybe satyr or harpy looking:)


epic chain type quests class specific..where true skill earns great gear.

I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time before you get you're legendary bow, but that's up to blizzard I'm pretty sure it would have some cheap consequences if some lucky hunter got his hands on the Windseeker AND a legendary bow.

The cheetah w/o stun isn't gonna happen that'd make hunters broken all speed effects come with catch 22s, shammys and druids can't cast, hunters get stunned, and rogues only works for a couple seconds. Even if it is just 20% it would still give too much of an advantage.

edit=actually now days since every class has a ranged stun of some some sort we need to have a better aspect of cheetah.

druids and shamans have travel form and dont get dazed...i dont see why this cant be possible for us..


the hunter class is pretty weak still imo

agreed, my gun got nerfed so I had to get a bow

I think it'd make sense to just be able to dismiss your pets and have them at your command. Like you summon your mount, you can summon your pet. Maybe like how the keyring works, you can have a pet option where your pets are stored. Get rid of the stables altogether. Hunters are beastmasters, they should be able to summon their pets from the wild at whim. Also, allow more pet slots as you get higher level. I really like having a dps pet for pvp, a tank pet for pve, and a pet with buffs like furious howl for groups. That leaves me with no slots for taming new pets for their abilities.

I also think pets need to be reworked. Why the nerf? Doesn't it make sense that if you camp and wait around for a rare spawn that you should now have some sort of rare pet instead of one that's the same size, same attributes, and same everything as any non-rare pet? And I think taming a named pet, you should be able to keep their name. Wouldn't you like to have your white tiger still be named King Bangalash?

There also really needs to be player-crafted arrows. Why bullets, but not arrows? I don't really see how it's "engineering" to craft bullets, so I say they could be able to craft arrows too. Or even give it to a different profession, like blacksmithing.

As far as aspects go, I really don't understand why there's no aspect of the sea-something. It'd be nice to have increased swim speed and underwater breathing, like druids form. I wouldn't even mind if we got dazed if hit while in it.

New shots? How about piercing shot. Some mobs have it, why not hunters? There's expose armor, I think hunters should have something that lowers the armor of the enemy too. Or why not some sort of flaming shot, that does damage over time. It would sure make for a cool animation, seeing an arrow on fire coming out your bow.

I remember seeing a thread about different kinds of arrows, like poison tipped arrows. Maybe something a rogue could add to the arrow. Or icy arrows, that enchanters could add. It would make for some awesome customization.

And really, i don't know much about why paladins get free mounts, or warlocks for that matter, but from a logical standpoint, hunters are the most obvious class for a free mount. And should be able to tame anything large for their mount (kodos, etc.).

Overall, I think hunters just need some more abilities. It's great when we can sneak up and take out a squishy in one hit in pvp, but if a warrior charges and hamstrings first, there's no point in even trying to do anything. At that point, I usually just sit down and wait to die. We have no melee abilities whatsoever.

I think Blizzard needs to stop making everything so "balanced" and give the classes their uniqueness back.

I love the idea of special ammo similar to rogue's poisons

poison arrows
flash grenades (like conc, but small AoE)
Fire arrows (clasic) although I think that should be a marksman talent - to give fire/physical damage with a short fire dot.
Magical effects

They don't even have to be cheep . I saw someone ask once for a Fletcher skill - that would be nice too, but not strictly required :)

make viper sting give the mana drained to the hunter...(would have been cool=)

make our traps work on all mobs in the world(at this time too many monsters are immune to them)

all i think should be inrouved is the aspects.. aspect of the wale or somthing along the lines of a water speed and an apect of the bear for heath.. i also think that there should be another typ of aspect of the cheatha kind of like the druids verstion where u cant use any good attacks but its faster and does not daze easaly.

OOOOOOOOO olmsot forgot!!! ok, you know how some mobs are ammune to acatter shot, well thay shoul;d only be ammune to the effect not the dmg... u dont jsut shoot a arrow and have them not feal it its not realistic
it should still do dmg but should not do the effect fo the scatter part.. there still is a shot in it!

How about just making ALL hunter shots actually work in all instances, dependent upon a certain stat. Bascially, in MC and other Instances all we can use is Venom / Arcane and Aimed shots. Gone are the days of Crowd Control if a Mage pulls aggro of the Warr, we could scattershot the mob till the Warr could taunt it back. Concussion, Scorpid, Distracting basically don't work on ANYTHING 40-man. It doesn't have to be automatic, but it should be a distinct stat number we can build to tghat would give us a high level chance of stunning a mob.

Making the traps work as well is also key. Hopefully when the new stats are released, our class will finally get the 'oomph' it needs. even with Giantstalker, a Hunter seems to be locked into PvP if they actually want to tactically contribute to a raid, and not just sit on 'Auto-Shot' and go make a sandwich.

dismiss pet get a buff that lasts untill pet is called.

and a good passive buff like say +50 agility/+5% to crit / +20% dmg to multishot/volley. any one of these would be fine.

um yea so i started a forum for hunter concepts b4... so now we have like 5 different ones goin at the same time... how about a blizzard poster put em all under the same forum so we dont have everyone whose looking to post an idea for hunters, creating new ones.... Thats my idea for hunters in the suggestions forum... But in the mean time, for the ingame ideas i posted, roll over to the Hunters must post something forum...lol. got a couple ppl who posted ideas over there too...and a couple of rogues crying about it....lol
