I'm building an Ark to preserve the WoW Classes from extinction due to the flood brought by all of the QQ'ing. I will only be taking one male and female couple of each class. Sorry :(

please, trash the zombie stuff, it's really pushing me away.
or atleast...
if I want to quest, zombie stuff shouldn't slow me down. Keep it out of harms way of those who want to quest and play the game regularly!!!

We do appreciate the feedback; if threads are being deleted, it's because the moderators are trying to keep things consolidated and constructive, not because they seek to stifle dissenters.

As I have stated, if this was planned to last any longer than it is, we would have been a great deal more leery of the wide-reaching effects of the plague. This has been anticipated; I respect the concept that some people dislike it and we'll certainly take that into account, but this was an event meant to impact players in all walks of life and routines. I am in no way stating it was perfect, and should we do something like this again the feedback both for and against will be taken into account when changes are made, particularly pertaining to lower level players. This event absolutely was meant to shake up the status quo of the average WoW day, and in that it's been successful.

It will still continue as planned, but for those of you less than fond of the plague, you don't have much longer to wait.

The reason I used when I cancelled my acct was this damned event.

I'm trying to level and this event has made that impossible.

I find the game "unplayable" because I cannot quest, I cannot turn in quests, I cannot look in the auction house for items or to sell, I cannot fly anywhere. I could list the ways that I cannot play for a few paragraphs, but the point is, the way this event has transpired, the game is unplayable in a productive way, the way we have paid to play the game.

Zombies are having fun, they're having fun ruining other people's game play. That's about the only thing that's happening. They are absolutely loving getting put on people's ignore lists, they're loving the attention they are getting in the trade channels, they're loving the fact that they are getting attention because they've got Blizzard's approval to go around ruining the game for others.

I'm not going to say that I'm going to cancel my accounts over this, since I know that does nothing, but I am complaining and trying to go through the proper channels, as well as simply not logging in. We had a raid planned for tonight, but since I can't get into a bank long enough to get the mats for pots/food, I can't contribute my usual fare and therefore, it's making our guild have a more difficult time raiding.

If I had wanted to be on a PVP realm, I would have paid for that. I didn't. "Invasion" isn't what this is, it's license to cause other people grief who would normally be able to avoid this nonsense.

/end wall of text that no one cares about, but this owner of three accounts does care and wants it known.

I hope you realize that there is a HUGE segment of the community you have really REALLY annoyed with this.

What could you do? Simple. Make a post saying nothing like this will ever happen again.

The one thing that gets me the most is that this is a one week issue at best. Are people so addicted to the game, that if it annoys them so much, they can't just skip playing for a week ?!? People would rather cancel an account then not play for 1 week? That also makes no sense.

Its a game people - if you are so stuck in a rut doing the same thing over and over you seriously need to question why missing one week of playing freaks you out.

Thanks - and I'm getting a lot accomplished today, chores I put off, phones calls I've been meaning to make, errands to run. I guess there's a silver lining to everything. ;-)

Although I like the Zombie invasion I have heard a lot of similar complaints while playing. And I wouldn't mind similar events in the future, BUT on a "ROLE PLAYING REALM" (maybe a new one). That way people could choose in opt in or out!

So basically, it would be a massive embarrassment to blizz and/or it would take longer to roll it back than to let it play out.

At least you "admitted" you screwed over the low levels and probably won't do it again.

So your suggestion for how to enjoy the game is to stop playing the game?

I appreciate that response a great deal. I've always found that Blizzard is one of the most receptive MMO companies out there when it comes to listening to their players. You don't always do what we want, but you're always willing to listen. I know it's too late for this event, but hopefully the launch event for the next expansion will be less... disruptive and un-fun for some of us. Thank you!

I'm sorry Kisirani but after a week of having to deal with the griefing this has brought on without any attempted to mitigate the beating the low level players are taking it just seems like all the ffedback is falling on deaf ears as the CMs parrot the "This event will continue as planned" or "It will end soon".
