This is really my problem with the event... if there really isn't a good way to fight the plague, what's the point of trying to fight it? At that point, we'll all just give in and join the Lich King, and then this whole thing isn't very interesting at all.

Maybe the reason that argent healer is gone is because so many people were cleansed by it? Being in one of the more trafficked areas of Org, maybe the whole "Pillars of light get green as they cleanse more people" has something to do with their dissapearance. Try getting one to cleanse you for a long time and see if anything happens.
