Q u o t e: Locks have green fire it's called Chaos Bolt, and don't expect a glyph of green fire. I am sure the green bolt look of Chaos Bolt is one of the factors to trying to draw people Destruction, because it cant be the spell itself because it's pretty awful IMO.
mages get custom polymorph types, we should get fel fire, we arent mages, we are fel-based magic casters, if blizzard is trying to make mages and warlocks "feel different" it could start with this nice glyph.

Originally, we were going to make the minor glyphs mostly cosmetic like this, but as we evolved the glyph feature we found that some spells just didn’t make sense to have a major glyph, so these became minors. We definitely understand some (many? all?) warlocks would love to have green fire and we’ll try and find a cool way to deliver on this. At this point, we’d probably rather do it with a flashy new spell rather than just change up an existing one, but we’ll have to see. As with the new druid forms, after waiting so long, we’d want to do it right.
