I am a level 48 Hunter and it takes me a really long time to level because I dont have much time on my hands so where should I go to grind really fast? Or should I just hope I get groups fast for Zul' Farrak and Sunken Temple?
There is no way to do it that doesnt involve time. Start killing. stop when you get to 70. thats about it. I level my charcter relativly fast by going from zone to zone as level dictates questing and killing.

Get to Maraudon first and get your Verdant Keeper's Aim.
Only once have I ever got an instance group on my hunter that matched my solo grinding power in terms of exp per hour, and even then just barely did they match it, if you really want to level fast, solo it. Also, do the AV quest at 51 and get the 40.9 dps crossbow called Bloodseeker, strap a scope on that thing and you'll have a 48dps weapon that'll last you 10 levels or so.
Can I add another plee for help? I'm now lvl 40 obviously, but getting there has been painful the last 10 and especially last 5 levels. I tend to solo pretty much all the time; my guild is very small. I've been doing the last 10 levels (has it been that long?) in SHV; boy it's gotten old although i can see myself grinding for a few more levels there. I've recently been in the badlands since it was near my level. I didn't see any save one quest givers. I went to Arathi highlands, and did those quests (about 4). Anyway, i'm pretty much out of quests. Can anyone point me in a new direction?

Not too many alliance questgivers in Badlands.
Some good places to go at level 40 are Aerie Peak in Hinterlands, and Steamwheedle Port/Gadetzan in Tanaris.

Thanks all for the tips! Will check them out. Started on Swamp of Sorrows already, there is a fun lvl 40 errand quest in duskwood that took me past it enroute to...whatever is south of there, i forget.
