Syndri. 16.5 hours during off peak hours isn't very comforting. The real problems keep showing up when players start loggin in in the evening.

The thing that concerns me is you're getting consistent, recurring information from the player base that the server is having issues during peak hours.

And what do you come up with? The status of the server during off-peak hours is "stable".

So, let me ask where the disconnect is here? Were you monitoring during peak hours? Was something changed/fixed? if not, I highly doubt that whatever the problem is, just vanished all by itself. So, unless something was specifically targeted and changed, we're going to go through this same thing again tonight.. and what will be the response? Another "the server is operating optimally" status during off-peak hours?
During the times that you monitored, what was the instance server activity vs peak hours server activity?
Was that monitored? Was there a comparison made? The server hasnt been having issues during off-peak hours.. so I guess my big question is, why does that seem to be the only time anything is being reported? Am I alone in thinking this is a really bizzarre way of troubleshooting?

What kind of server is it Butsuon, a WoW private server?

That asked, I'm sure they couldn't begun to discuss any amount of information regarding how their servers operate, as that would be what some call a "trade secret" and part of their business strategy.

Butsuon said nothing about a private server. That was the post below him. He simply asked what kind of problem was it that displayed those symptoms in case his own responsibilites encountered a similiar problem.

Thing with hardware issues, each time one gets bugged, it's always different. Never the same hardware issue twice, well , if it is, it's coincidence. Heck, even the term bug occurred because there was a moth in the computer when the term was coined
