With the advent of 3.0, there's just a ton of burst going around. We're seeing crits that are substantially larger than anything we saw pre-3.0. I've done mostly some probing around with Mutilate as its a "bursty" ability. Problem is, testing resilience is pretty tricky on live. Swapping out gear usually changes the armor count, and there's always the random variability with weapon damage ranges for testing the crit damage reduction part of resilience. As for the crit chance part, its yet again not that easy to get a lot of hard data on (especially when my friends don't want to stand there all day and let me get a large sample).
However the main point is this, resilience seems to be in either a very "nerfed" state or is not working at all. There's no way these crits are being effected by resilience as they should be.
Other random thing: East and West Frostwolf Towers in AV seem to be going down much faster than the other horde towers and the Dun Baldar towers.
