The Wrath of the Lich King DVD contains the installer for patch version 3.0.1. This means installing the expansion will require you to patch back up to the latest version of the game after installation. Good information at any time Eyonix... It's always a good idea to back up all the patches... especially if you completely blow your installation of WoW and have to reinstall from scratch... and can't find your original disks.
Also of note, be sure to check the Troubleshooting Forums BEFORE you uninstall your WoW to reinstall.
