Honestly, I was shocked myself. He immediately began using my PowerBook as deftly as any Mac user would. He wasn't completely in the know, however.

I'm a software developer, so I have the Dev Tools installed, which as any Mac developer can tell you, strews files everywhere inside the /Developer folder. So a lot of his Spotlight searches were bringing up hits of source code, example programs, documentation, etc., residing in that folder. He would constantly ask me about stuff that looked suspicious, and I would have to explain that it was files that came with the Dev Tools install.

The OP could have equally made the title to be "I listened to iPod, I became a terrorist". But that would be for the iPod forum on a Mac site. Oh well I guess if one really wanted to, one could make anything to be WoW related.

Um...I really don't think that's story's real, since it contradicts itself a little.

If it is, though, and you just suck at writing, bummer. Canada border customs are rough, I'd hate to see how they react to a bomb scare. :/

So ... where are these contradictions?

Thanks for the story, it was an interesting read that helps remind us how unprepared these governments are for real emergencees. I can understand playing 20(thousand) questions with someone if they found something suspicious, but it is criminal (or it should be) to do that to someone who is guilty of nothing.
