This morning, I spent some time just listening to the soundtrack for the Burning Crusade. Each song easily transported me either to a place in the game or a moment in memory that I enjoyed. For me though, this may be unique given that many people turn the music off in game and don't have those associations of music with a zone or an encounter.
We see many threads asking what you PvP to or what music you listen to, but I thought I'd ask how many actually have their music on or have heard enough that they can put the music with the zone or an experience versus those that automatically turned it off and never turned it back on.
For me, it's what enhances the incredible scenery and gives me a chance to slow down and just soak it all in.
If you turned it off, you may just want to turn it back on. It may surprise you.

Every 3 minutes I'm a god in PVP. The rest of the time I'm any other mage.

My favorite music for a zone in TBC would have to be in hellfire, honestly the best music for that type of terrain, it gives it the feeling that it really is desolate and a war-raging battlefield.

I listened to the BC soundtrack for the first time on a roadtrip recently. I couldn't place very many tracks with locations in the game. I have my sound on, but its very low and usually overshadowed by Vent conversations or background music I have running.
I enjoyed the soundtrack, just couldn't really relate to it much without having heard most of the tracks in-game.

I enjoyed it the first couple weeks of playing, it actually is very well put together. Then it just got repetitive. I still turned it on everytime I went to Naxxramas though. :)
