This thread is for all the haters out there. I'll prob make a PvP video sometime, but for now I'm mainly just showing what we can do end-game. The only one I have right now is Al'ar - something I slapped together quickly last night (Void Reaver is way too boring a fight so I didn't bother). We already killed our farm bosses this week, so I'll have to wait another week to get some of the other fights in.

Illidan Stormrage
Genesis' first Illidan kill. I know it's Illidan but I was too lazy to add some production value to the video - so much so that I forgot to make a title. I started making these videos to show all the people in doubt what we are capable of - this one is no different. I have been in Genesis since we started Karazhan and as long as I was on time I have had a raid spot as DPS. I picked up a couple more mods (SCT/Quartz) so that everyone can better see what 's going on.

Kalecgos
An extremely sloppy Kalecgos kill. All other attempts of the night were much cleaner but somehow managed to fail where this one succeeded. Go figure. Not that my UI is usually pretty, but my mods aren't completely how I want them to be since 2.4 came out and my UI is cluttered as *#!% here since I have to decurse a lot.

Al'ar
This is only our second time killing him, so it's not the smoothest. For those of you who want the quick information - I used 2 mana pots and innervate once over a 15 minute fight and end up a close 2nd (with a shadow priest). I could have used one less pot if I innervated earliar, but I didn't want to stop DPS. This fight is ranged biased and our mages have to spec frost. I forgot to include the part where I mouse-over the actual numbers at the end - I was at 650,344 and #1 was at 654,406.

Our first kill. Not much to say about this one. I was doing much better on the attempt before this where we wiped at 15% or something (I had 50k+ more damage at that point than the end of the kill in the video and was a very close 2nd to a mage) and I missed heroism at the end when I was accidentally switched out of my group instead of the dead SP. But this isn't [entirely] about e-peen, it's about moonkin end-game viability which I think I showed.

Our first kill so the strategy and execution are kinda sloppy still. Very long fight. I forgot to turn fraps on right away so the first 2 mins or so are from the attempt before the kill. Fraps has been acting strange lately so the quality of this one is lower than usual and it slows down/speeds up slightly a couple times. I will try to get a better quality video for download but I have had problems all day with that so it will take another few days for that probably.

Any positive comments and suggestions are appreciated. Like I said I threw this together quickly tonight and it's my first video, so it's nothing special. I might speed them up in the future since some of these fights are so damn long. More to come next week most likely.

I didn't watch the whole thing (I'm working at the moment) but I did skim through a couple minutes to see some numbers (and make sure it wasn't a rickroll :P).

Good video from what I can tell. Pretty much just flat evidence that you can bring a moonkin onto a raid, down an endgame high-progression boss, and see the moonkin carry his own weight even against well-geared players.

I'll have to post something of my own once I get a recording device for my mac :P (And er, catch up to your guild in progression =P)

Impressive, and considering your overall DPS is yours+ the bonus you gave your group with the moonkin aura, and the fact that the warlocks had a shadow priest to leech off shadow weaving, you are technically #1.

These are the kind of videos one needs to link to those snobby guilds with Restoration druid recruitment officers who are a bunch of obtuse @%%#**%s.

P.S. Can't wait until you get yourself a nathrezim mindblade+ a nice offhand to improve on that staff. Alos, good music taste fir the most part.

I would have beat the lock if i didn't run around like an idiot at the end. They asked me to help on adds cause they were starting to build up and I was close to pulling aggro - had I stayed I'm very confident I would have beaten him.

As far as my weapon combo goes. I "lost" the dagger to a priest back when my guild didn't realize balance was good and I haven't seen it since. My guild does Karazhan on off-nights so I either miss it or I leave early to do something that's not WoW and miss Prince. If I get the dagger though, no one ever wants fathomstone, so it would be easy to get.

Yup, and also, this was a fight where you had to move around quite a bit, so it was also a fight geared towards warlocks and shadow priests.

I still think balance itemization and leatherworking patterns need to be reevaluated to be on par with tailors and cloth itemization; but other than that, a moonkin's only barrier towards achieving endgame success is getting through the outdated mindsets of raiding guilds.

hopin to pick up a few more pieces of malorne myself, the pieces I did take were all healing cause I only convinced my guild to let me go full DPS about a month ago. Haven't run kara since >.<

Yeah I might try to not be so bad with my camera when I record other fights. I just didn't care to look up at him everytime since it's not a comfortable angle to play with.

Nice Madrox ;). Maybe I'll get around to actually raiding again someday :P to witness this first hand.
