0. Spam Reporting Update 06/07/2007 11:50:56 AM PDT
The new spam-reporting feature has been updated so that you can now report members inside your group or raid. This will allow players who are invited to groups created for purposes of spam to report the abuse appropriately. To report this type of spam, simply right-click on the player's name in the chat interface, and choosing the "Report Spam" option. Once you have selected this option, a dialogue box will open to confirm that you wish to report the target player, and your report will be sent once you confirm your choice.
Please make sure you're only using this reporting feature for spam. All other forms of abuse should be reported appropriately, by petitioning a Game Master.

Q u o t e: When are we going to be able to report guildies >.>
Would you really click "Accept" if the invite said "fkldjflsj invites you to join the guild 'ufdshflsjlf'"?
"If complete and utter chaos was lightning, then he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are bastards'."

I've had spamsentry more a while now and it solved my spam problems long before Blizzard did. It even lets me ignore sub level 4 players automatically.
/shrug I guess people are still waiting for Blizzard to get something right? Well, it's probably tough to copy the code design of spamsentry and paste it in to your own interface.
Just before my canceled account expires I'm sending Blizzard an email letting them know I am banning them from my money permanently... Good times. Blizzard Entertainment, we put the "K" in "Kwality"

Any chance of returning the functionality of being able to right click and name and invite?
Let's say I am trying to invite someone named Lisa
"Cannot find Lisa:465"
Number changes but the effect is the same. This did not start untill the new spam reporting feature was implemented.
Before you worthless globs of biomatter that are refered to as forum trolls get all up in flames over my post. I have a 60+ warrior, a 60+ mage, a 60+ shadow priest and a 70 MM hunter so back off
No, I just think the MT needs a 3 hour break when he spams Myspace crap, which everyone else in the guild hates
Um, you do realize the report spam function is to fight gold spammers not random junk like that. For that you will have to resort to either the normal report feature or guild related punishment (make a rank that can't talk in /g and put ppl who are being obnoxious in time out, etc).
other 70's: Hounjra (tauren druid), + mage, priest, warlock, warrior, hunter, rogue, and shaman at 60+
