Ratings will be reset but any arena points you have earned will remain with you.

No they are not allowed or don'[t know the full details in regards to the new gear..

you'll have to wait til june 12th to find out.

if you have a 2000 rated team, and tuesday comes,

do you get the points for a 2000 team? or do you get the points a 1500 rated team would get as it just reset..

-I'm going to take the guess you get the points for the 2000 rated team, and then it's reset. It'd be silly to do it any other way..

basically. but then again.. you could get lucky and fight some of those teams that were rated @ 1200 or something..

Logic would say no. I think they'll be adding new pieces and leaving the old ones alone, similar to normal PVE progression.
