Everytime I log off and back on, my UI goes back to the default. Not JUST X-Perl, but the whole interface. How can I save my UI as it is on my screen now so I dont have to keep setting it up everytime I log on?

One possible cause of this issue ....

Check that your WTF folder, specifically your character folder, is not marked as "read-only" The file that controls these settings is layout-cache.txt, if that file is read-only, the game fails to overwrite it with new settings.

i had this same problem just recently. x-perl saved fine up until one day, then for the next few days it wouldn't save my changes (but still had changes up to that day saved). as far as i know, i didn't fix anything myself, it just started working again. i did look for a checkbox that maybe said "save ui on exit" or something, but never found it.

--edit--
i just remembered it wasn't just x-perl, like you. it wouldn't save when i tried to check "Show Player Names," either. that, also, is fixed.
