I've heard from a guildie that honor will be "locked" from the patch until the expansion. Not erased, just impossible to obtain. Can I get a confirm/deny?

You'll be able to obtain honor normally through Battlegrounds and various forms of Player versus Player. We are not currently planning to "lock" honor gain.
Good to hear though, way too lazy to farm up all the honour I need right away >.<

There's really no point in limiting honor in any way. The 75k that people will be capped at before the expansion is going to be chump change compared to the rate at which honor is gained in WotLK right now.
For example, I did one game of Strand of the Ancients earlier at level 80 on the beta, and for 20 minutes of my time I got about 1400 honor in the win (from kills and bonus).
I can see 5000 honor/hour being within reach at those rates, assuming this rate of gain is going to stay as the way of trivializing current honor stockpiles.

Does this mean the 75K cap is no more? Is there a point in gaining honor with my 70 now to save for when I reach 80?
