I've spent so much time on this game, I woudl really be pissed it everything suddenly came to a grinding halt because of Starcraft 2. I'm not going anywhere, but we have to face it... Starcraft 2 is going to pull a LOT of people away from WoW, meaning that it won't be QUITE as lucrative a game as it was before.

It's good that you're making new games, and I may get SC2 myself, but does this mean that you'll be focusing more on other games rather than making new content and tweaks for WoW? We don't want to be tossed aside, and many of us do not want this game to die. We have too much time invested in it.

The answer is no but im sure there are a dozen fretful kids ready to argue on the contrary.

WoW allows Blizzard to print its own money.

It won't be neglected.

It's handled by a totaly different department than the WoW team.

WoW brings in too much money to be neglected.

Games like Starcraft, after all the hype goes down, are self-sustainable because it's only RTS. Once the game play is set, it's not going to change for the life of it. Then when any errors or bugs get fixed they'd need little staff to maintain operations. Whereas WoW is an ever changing world and needs constant maintenance for updates to keep it's player base from getting bored and quitting.

Thank GOD the main people working on SC2 don't appear to be from the w0w dev team... that's all I have to say, this game looks too perfect honestly...

Star Craft is a "litte man game", why would these developers be working on it?

I am more tired of Blizzard prostituting everthing except the kitchen sink on the "World of Warcraft" site. Good to see our subscription money being used to promote other products.

I don't care about Star Craft, the stupid trading card game or any other product you plan to fleece people with. Just stick to the game!

I'm very glad that the next game is not warcraft related. Heck i think they shouldn't make yet another WoW expansion. They should make Diablo 3 after starcraft 2. I love WoW, but if that was the only game that blizz was working on, i'd be seriously pissed. I like to see Blizz work on their other popular titles. Especially Starcraft.... damn about time there is another sequel blizzard lol.

No, even at it's peak, SCII won't receive even half the playerbase WoW has.
