0. Why isn't there an LFG channel? 05/08/2007 03:21:26 PM PDT

Everyone just uses trade these days. Absolutely nobody uses the LFG tool, so everyone is forced to wander in to a major city and use trade as an LFG channel.
Why not just bring back the global LFG channel?

Blizzard doesnt think it has a reason to be humble. An understandable position given their success. Stupid, but understandable.

Most servers created their own LFG channel as soon as the old one was removed.

In the next patch (currently on the public test realms), players will be able to access a global Looking For Group Channel upon joining the Looking For Group/Looking for More interface tool.

or you could, you know, just give us the channel back and not require the use of the tool to use the channel

And apparently the next patch removes the most commonly used player created "LookingForGroup" channel and forces you to use the tool in order to just lurk in the channel (even if you were grouped for something else like the Ring of Blood quest etc so you didn't WANT that group to show up in the tool)

Don't you think this will entice people to join the channel just to talk or guild recruit, instead of using it as indended. I could see alot of

What's your point? They are bringing the channel back.. or can you not read?

Or did you think that because it was magically in the tool that it would stop someone from abusing it if they wanted?
