Let's hear it for the new "Burnout" Talent!
I am glad Blizzard finally gave Fire Mages a "Ruin / Ice Shards" type of talent. 50% crit damaga is jsut fine even tho we do not receive the 100% that warlocks (and now Shadow Priests...) receive.
However.. the Increased mana cost of Critical strikes by 5% is a little "meh"
We as Mages must complain our hearts out untill Blizzard changes it! "Mages have mana gems and evocation.." Warlocks have Life tap GG.

22 mana is burned on a fireball crit.

STILL for being 45-50 point talents why penalize us at all? "Ruin" (100%) is like 21 talents if i remember correctly i dont reall feel like going and checking it out..
what you are forgetting, divinehand, is ignite. ignite is our ruin and ice shards. in fact, it is better. it gave us 210% crit bonus. burn out on top of that is just icing on the cake

burn out + ignite = 245% damage on crits.

also, take into account Master of Elements refunds 30% of a crits base cost

lol. I don't like it either, but it's not Fire's problem at the moment. Hot Streak's Pyro is the problem. You use too much mana using 500 mana insta Pyros every 10-15 seconds.
Firstly, ignite gives fire crits a 40% damage increase, just over time. And while I like the idea of giving fire even more crit power (up to 90% it seems, including Ignite?) they did just fine with only ignite, since they could crit so fast, so often. So, having a mage, I like how OP it is, but I also acknowledge that it is OP.
