Welcome to the Research Thread that will feed into the Proven TC Stuff thread ( http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=109841969 ). I will no longer maintain the summary in this thread, instead it will be in the proven TC Stuff thread. This one already has a lot of good info in it, so I figured keeping it in the public view would be good.

If you would like to contribute anything to this thread, please post a link to a /combatlog of what you were doing, along with any pertinent information about your gear / spec etc at the time. This is the system of documentation I'm going to be migrating myself towards as time goes on for any future research I perform. It makes it cleaner and easier to back check later on.

As per my norm, please feel free to challenge my findings, be prepared to either justify it by analyzing my data or by providing data of your own.

You know, I'm actually kind of nervous about that... With the new achievements system recording how many of each type of mob we kill for our 'prefered kill type'... I wonder if that might end up creating dynamic quests in the future where if you've slaughtered an excess of X type something happens. If so, I'm in trouble with Wolves and Troggs

Okay, so here is what I think is pertinent, any additional information you'd like to know?

- Scales with gear at all
- Miss chance against a 83
- health / mana pools influences
- damage range with / without gear
- any talents increase their damage
- benefits from on-target debuffs
- spell rotation selections
- swapping, how is it decided, can it be avoided, what does it result in

Clarify, you mean what is the level 80 mana regen formula, and how does the new regen work? (Since its not a every 2 second tick anymore, looks like it may be every 1/2 second or so, I haven't timed it yet).

Spec: Fire to Blastwave, Dragon's Breath and Living Bomb, initially avoiding firepower / playing with fire, later speccing into them

Methodology: Gather ridiculous amounts of targets in Deadmines, cast AoE spells at them, look for the effects of the cap and calculate the cap.
