The changes players have noticed on the public test realms concerning select tailor-crafted items, such as the Spellfire set, will be reverted before the patch is live on production realms.

This means your item sets will remain just as they are now.

Also note, to address the feedback we've been reading this morning concerning the idea of simply “buffing tier 4 and 5 equivalent slots”, the reason we do not is because improving those 3 slots for tier 4 and 5 would force a change to all other tier 4 and 5 items as well (weapons, melee sets, everything).

It's nice to know your listening to feedback thank you. A lot of people gave up a large amount of gold that would have gone to their epic mount to get this gear, and then they find out the quests run out and they are a really long way from their epic mount, but it's ok because they've got this really awesome gear. It just really hurts when something you gave something else up for gets hit with the nerf bat.

A question though if I may... are all the nerfs the mages/shadow priests are getting... are they because of this gear? When you run dps comparision tests do all your mages/shadow priests have this gear on and your comparing them to melee classes in tier 4/5 gear?

Why don't you buff ALL the slots? ATM tier 4 and 5 kinda suck :(

You made my day.

About your comment on buffing Teir 4/5. I can understand that. However I feel that set bonuses will make those sets desirable when compared to the tailoring sets.

If anything maybe *slightly* increase the set bonus of Teir4/5. Not that there is anything wrong with how they are now. I'd gladly take T5 over my tailoring epics due to the set bonus.

My warlock is so powerful it took 5 episodes of flashbacks and power ups to get my shadow bolt off.

Myth: Mages can't beat Warlocks

Oh, we used to be Mages. Then we decided not to suck.

If you can tie your shoes you can play a warlock. On the same note i'd like to say all hunters wear sandals.

Great, so how about not leaving the Night Blade as a worthless purple?

There is, ya know, about a 21 page thread already on this on test that seems to have been completely ignored.

As it stands, the 5% proc rate on test leaves this dagger worth less than a 174 gold rep reward dagger anyone with 4 friends and a couple of nights in the caverns of time can get.

Make it 10%, and it will be in line with Karazhan epics, but not overpowered compared to 25 man drops or Arena gear.

This is very surprising to read, but I welcome the good news.

Maybe they need to be adjusted.
